This presentation will dive into the science behind the vapor intrusion concept, the regulatory framework for vapor investigations, strategy for successful design of a sampling program, common pitfalls in vapor sampling/analysis/mitigation, and the unique factors that make this pathway a challenge for environmental professionals.


Presenter:  Kyle Power, Certified Indoor Air Quality Manager & Environmental Chemist at TriHydro Corporation.

Kyle has managed several environmental indoor air, sub-slab, and passive vapor intrusion investigations.  He is verse in the most recent federal, state, and other relevant regulations/guidance, analytical requirements related to soil vapor testing, and is also experienced in assessing data quality issues identified during data validation for specific project needs.  He has managed data and laboratory relations for chlorinated-solvent sites, former refineries, orphan sites, and city landfills.  Kyle has been with Trihydro Corporation for over 5 years and is located at the company’s headquarters in Laramie, Wyoming.
